You might have heard that we're selling our Twtapps. Some blogs picked up the story:

First of all, I'd like to say that the apps aren't going anywhere, regardless of what happens. We make enough money to keep the sites live (Thanks to our users who choose to brand their twtapps) and we'll be rolling out some new features soon.

If we don't find a good match for our apps, we'll continue to support, develop new features and new apps, as we have over the past 9 months.

The main reason why I'm looking to sell Twtapps is so that I can dedicate my time developing new applications and so that the twtapps people like so much can get the attention they deserve.

So, again, Twtpoll, Twtvite, TwtBizCard, TwtQpon, TwtTRIP, Twtlong, Twtjobs et al will continue to be available regardless.

Twtapps is releasing a new Twitter application today. Twtlong is an application that lets you create a tweet with more than 140 chars text, images, videos and a map.

Twtlong works great for using Twitter for customer services. You might get questions about your product/service that you just can't answer in 140 chars. Then you have to either turn this conversation to email, or send the answer in several consecutive tweets.

With Twtlong, you can elaborate one response, add images or videos and always reference to it when someone else asks the same question!
